If the above Koenigsegg doesn’t justify the $2 million price tag in your books, here’s another that carries the same weighty outlay. Instead on investing in about 80 roadsters from Mazda, why no treat yourself to just one Koenigsegg One:1. Yep, they like to keep things odd as far as the names go, but when it comes to what’s brought to the table by these guys it is VERY strictly business.
In this instance, they went and produced a limited edition megacar with a ridiculous weight to horsepower ration of 1:1. Which means that along with weighing 1,340 kilos, it also has 1,340BHP on tap. If you can find a road long enough where the rules of the civilised world don’t apply, they reckon it will hit a top speed of 273 mph. It’s been crafted with so many of the guts you’d usually find in a Formula 1 car – the only difference being you can tootle around town in the One:1.
It’s just a shame they only ever made six of them…which means you aren’t getting one!
