If Ferruccio Lamborghini was still alive this year, he would have been celebrating his 100th birthday. Sadly, the chap responsible for the world’s most iconic luxury car brand is no longer with us, but to celebrate his centenary, the $1.9 million Centenario was born. It’s bigger than the Aventador, it’s longer than the Aventador and yet the whole thing weighs considerably less than the Aventador. This limited-edition masterpiece has been exquisitely crafted with pure performance in mind – they claim it to be twice as aerodynamic as the Aventador too.
Under the hood you’ll find nothing less that the most incredible Lamborghini engine ever to come out of Italy. There’s a full 770BHP on tap, courtesy of a 6.5-liter V12 that’s good for 200mpg, not to mention a zero to 60mph time of 2.8 seconds. Quite simply, extraordinary.
