Wagyu beef is once again allowed in the United Stated, which has given every OTT restaurant spanning the country the opportunity to go wild and wacky with the steaks. In the case of NYC’s Old Homestead Steakhouse, the 12-ounc New York Strip Style A5 Kobe sells for a whopping $350 each. And while you’d think it’s be a bit of a rare order (no pun intended), they reckon they sell around 25 a day – so much so you have to order in advance to make sure they’ve got enough of the stuff in stock!
