7. Most Expensive Coffee
There are quite a few reasons why the vast majority of rich people with a modicum of common sense would not consider switching to Kopi Luwak coffee. First of all, there’s the fact that it costs more than $3,000 per kilo – completely insane. Secondly, there’s the way in which the coffee itself is processed from the faces of an animal known as the Asian palm civet, which initially eats the coffee beans, digests them and then poops them out. Last but not least, there are quite a few experts who argue that Kopi Luwak actually isn’t very good at all and is nothing more than a novelty.
